We suggest that you add coating to your slide, however we do not make you. Stainless slides do not need coating as much as carbon steel slides do. Both can rust (yes stainless can rust) it all depends on the grade of metal and the conditions in which the slide is in.
We no longer offer a cold bluing solution. If you choose to not have a coating on your milled slide, it will be returned back to you milled and oiled. By purchasing this product you agree to these terms and conditions. We are not responsible if your slide rusts or corrodes when selecting no coating
If you include iron sights and/or a red dot we will install them for you.
Screws are included with each optic cut.
If you need irons sights you can order them here. We will install them on your slide.

Cut 2011 slide for optics
Firearm options are clear and easy to select. I stripped my slide, but they will handle that for you if needed. I also shipped my optic which they mounted. My slide was returned beautifully finished with the optic mounted. I cleaned and lubed the slide before reassembly and found very little residue from the finishing process in the firing pin and extractor channels. This by far the cleanest reinishing process I've experienced. They also called to make sure I had the internal parts before shipping my slide back. First class machining, finishing, and customer service. Impact Mahcine is now on my go-to list.

Kimber 1911 slide milling for DeltaPoint Pro optic
Milled slot was a very good machine fit to the optic with no appreciable movement of the optic once mounted. The mounting screws did not have any lock tite used when Impact mounted the optic, but that is a very minor issue. However, the spring on the firing pin block was missing when the slide was returned. The slide has a Kimber-type firing pin block and requires a small spring to operate properly. Final fit and finish, though, was excellent.
