We suggest that you add a coating to your slide, however we do not make you. Stainless slides do not need coating as much as carbon steel slides do. Both can rust (yes stainless can rust) it all depends on the grade of metal and the conditions in which the slide is in.
We no longer offer a cold-blasting solution. If you choose to not have a coating on your milled slide, it will be returned to you milled and oiled. By purchasing this product you agree to these terms and conditions. We are not responsible if your slide rusts or corrodes when selecting no coating

CZ Shadow 2 compact ports
I sent my CZ shadow 2compact to Impact Machine for the purpose of the ICM ports. The barrel and slide was completed and returned faster than I anticipated. The visual appearance of the ports were almost artistic. There were a few glitches with the barrel. When the customer service department was contacted I received a response within minutes. They were extremely helpful and offered to assist in any way. The issue was quickly resolved. I took the pistol to the fine range the next day and shot approximately 100 rounds. The ports far exceeded my expectation. Firing the pistol was very flat and with very little effort it remained on target with rapid firing. A staff member at the gun store shot the pistol and returned from the firing range with a big smile commenting on the flatness. The slide and barrel finished product was worth every single penny. Great customer service and outstanding finished product.

CZ Shadow 2 Porting
Impact did an impeccable job of porting the pistol, and they are surprisingly effective! The pistol shoots significantly flatter, which allows me to run it significantly faster. Highly recommended!
