What is the process to getting my slide milled? 

After you place your order you will send your slide, irons and/or optic along with your order number to our address.

Upon receiving your slide we will mark your order as Slide Arrived to our shop! 
 
We please ask you that you give us the allocated lead time before contacting us to see if your slide is done. If there are any issues we will reach out to you. 
 
Should I have my slide coated?
 
We suggest that you add coating to your slide, however we do not make you. Stainless slides do not need coating as much as carbon steel slides do. Both can rust (yes stainless can rust) it all depends on the grade of metal and the conditions in which the slide is in.
 

We no longer offer a cold bluing solution. If you choose to not have a coating on your milled slide, it will be returned back to you milled and oiled. By purchasing this product you agree to these terms and conditions. *We are not responsible if your slide rusts or corrodes when selecting no coating.*

 
Why hasn't my optic plate order shipped yet?
 
We are a small shop and a small operation. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for us to upload your order with tracking information. The more you inquire about your order status the less time we have to work on fulfilling orders. Thank you for your understanding.

We want you to be happy with your purchase.

In order to ensure a quick turn-around for your return, we ask that you obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) from us prior to returning the purchase. (must have an account to do so).

If you do not have an account with us, please email us and reference your original order number and item. 

Impact Machine is happy to accept returns on items that are new and unused with the original packaging, or items that are defective, within 30 days of purchase.

In cases where an item is defective or the wrong item is received, Impact Machine is happy to pay for the return shipping.

A 20% restocking fee is added to our custom slides, if you decide you no longer want it. If the item is defective we will repair the slide at no cost and return back to you.
